David Lyles is dedicated to the protection of our children, the future of Paulding County, and the betterment of the legal profession.
In 2012, in response to an incident of vandalism at a local high school and at the direction of the District Attorney, David designed and implemented a program designed to educate middle and high school students concerning the legal impact of their actions. Under his leadership, the program was presented to eighth and ninth grade students throughout Paulding County. This program received the support and endorsement of the Paulding County District PTA Council. In an effort to reach out to parents as well, Mr. Lyles spoke at PTA summit nights at each of the county’s high schools in 2013.
David is a member of the board of directors for the Paulding County Boys and Girls Club, and the board of directors for the Paulding County Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is also a member of the Paulding County Public Safety board of directors and serves as the board’s liaison to the District Attorney’s office. This board has raised and distributed thousands of dollars to public safety personnel and their families who find themselves in need of emergency assistance.

Mr. Lyles has served as a mentor to other attorneys through both the State Bar of Georgia’s Transition into Law Program and Prosecuting Attorney’s Council’s Transition into Prosecution Program. He has worked with local law enforcement agencies throughout Paulding County speaking to officers on topics including report writing, search warrants and courtroom demeanor.
